This website is run by the Defra accessibility team. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:

We last tested this website for accessibility issues in December 2021. We did further Quick Checks in June 2022, and July 2024.
We used manual and automated tests to look for issues.
What we’re doing to improve accessibility
We plan to review this site again in a year. We will also fix any issues reported within 12 weeks.
In July 2022 we:
- changed the font on the site to Atkinson Hyperlegible to improve legibility
- removed unused navigation landmarks to reduce confusion
- removed the breadcrumbs as they didn't provide any value
- introduced a selectable dark theme
- added a site map page to provide another way to find content

This website was last tested in December 2021. We did further Quick Checks in June 2022, and July 2024. The test was carried out by the Accessibility Team in Defra. We tested all of the website's pages.
